the dream i had last night is holding hands with fear now
sunny side-up and two sausages, a glass of jasmine tea
can’t even change the face in the mirror
so i put a smile
when the hem of my shirt is dirty
from an isolated road where i put my hope, but still astray
i’m laughing with the birds above
i heard about the party
from that ginger cat i envy the most
he’s a stray
but not astray
the wind keeps mocking me, stealing glances
and i’m standing still holding a golden ticket
to the unknown
it’s raining maple leaves when i run in slow motion
so beautiful
so lucky to have them all for myself
even though the end of the road is out of the reach
and i’m still astray
blowing dandelions in lonely street
